Very clever. I usually avoid poems because I’m terrible at them, but you caught my interest with the verses’ simplicity. Thanks for submitting.

I do not wear makeup. Metaphorically it takes off the perception that I’m perfect, but physically aswell. Makeup should not be used as a disguise, but an expression.
PoojaG
Yeah I agree makeup should be used to express ones self.

I totally feel this. I watch my daughter go through all her emotions in make up, and coloring her hair. It is cyclical with her. The hair changes with each mood swing. Today she bought dark blue. It is all about pain. And when she feels it, I see and feel it. Thank you for sharing PoojaG.
PoojaG
Thank you and hopefully one day she will be free from the pain.

Powerful and very apt. I had an encounter with story telling sometime back and this is what I inferred https://sunniesmybunnies.wordpress.com/2017/10/10/storytelling/

Hi there! I got a but lost in your blog after I saw you like a poem from mine. I love condensed forms of fiction, so these six word stories caught my eye immediately.
This one in particular is phenomenal. I’ve been having a hell of a day today, if the poem you saw is any indication—this piece really speaks to me.
Cheers, love. May we be kind to ourselves in our moments of suffering.
