Lichen Poem: Hedgehogs(Guest Post)
By caden738
Hedgehogs in the grass
Hedgehogs in the sticks
Hedgehogs burrowed under the overpass
Baby Hedgehogs with their little quivers, & pricks
–
You grow the love them more
Love multiplying as the days go by
Then as love tightens the pricks feel softer than before
As you hold them sitting in the grass with them, ‘neath the cloudy sky

Thanks So Much!

Such a shame they are under threat. They used to be common.

They really are great animals, and–from Experience I can tell you–great pets. When I first held my baby hedgie’s I was in love. That’s what inspired me to write this poem.
