How To Deal With Disappointment
I have been getting a lot of great ideas from fellow blogger Souparni about post ideas and I thought I should do this one because everyone at some point in life has been disappointed whether it was something small or something life altering. I was going to do this post particularly for students who didn’t achieve the grades they hoped to but to be honest this advice works for other disappointments too so I just wrote about it in general. Disappointments are a part of life and no one can get everything they want all the time. These are a few things I personally find helpful in dealing with disappointment: Grieve- It’s normal to feel…

Ode To Anxiety
It was a struggle at first But now my old friend visits Again and again Leaving me helpless in pain Food becomes foe And nights a sweaty drench Laughter leaves the soul Eyes are fogged and blank I learn to laugh again Feels good Like emerging from a black hole Learning to see again Stronger I am and more confident It will come again I know But it’ll never take me back I know This is another awesome poem by MistryLand who hadn’t written for a while but I’m so glad she’s writing again! How To Survive High School
So as most of you know I recently just finished high school and graduated and even though I’ve had some of my best memories in high school I know firsthand how much high school can suck. Secondly, chewing gum gives your ability to concentrate a boost so maybe schools need to start allowing students to chew gum in class (just a suggestion). “For some reason, chewing gum for me gets my brain going.” – Brie…

Phases I Went Through
All teenagers go through a bunch of phases (that mostly tend to be extreme, weird or annoying). We’ve all been at that phase when you don’t support the government and prefer anarchy or communism over democracy (wait was that just me?). We’ve all also gone through that phase where we want to get a bunch of piercings and dye our hair. As someone who just turned eighteen (a legal adult but technically still a teenager) these are the phases I have been through over the past few years: The mad at everyone phase– this is one of the first phases I went through as a newly proclaimed teenagers. My hormones…

Things All Introverts Want You To Know
Being An Introvert Being an introvert can sometimes be very difficult. You never know what to say, or how to handle new situations and people. Sometimes regular things that most people don’t even need to think about can make you freak out. Here are some things that will hopefully help you understand introverts better: We’re not bitchy, unfriendly or mean If we just met or even if we’ve been friends for a while but aren’t that close the only thing you’re going to get is a smile and some polite and probably painfully awkward conversation about cats. It’s not that we’re anti-social or even asocial, we like talking and are…
